Wow, it is not easy to pick my favorite place to travel. My husband and I took the opportunity to travel quite a bit before children (BC) and now we travel as a family. That said, I do have a very special place in my heart for Kauai. Peter and I went there on our honeymoon and fell in love with the island. So much so that we bought a timeshare while on our honeymoon. They saw us coming from a mile away…. As a financial advisor, I would clearly say this was not a wise investment BUT from a personal standpoint, we have treasured having a place to share with friends and family.
Yes, it takes a day to get there from here BUT just like most things in life, the longer you wait the better it is. Rainbows and waterfalls are around every bend. The beaches are beautiful, the snorkeling amazing, and you can satisfy your need for adventure with zip-lining, kayaking, surfing, helicopter tours and hiking. OR, you can sit on a beach with a good book and totally relax. I cannot wait to go back. If my email replies “out of office” next week, you’ll know why😊.
